The Connecticut Chapter of the Academy of Certified Hazardous Materials Managers Inc. (CTACHMM) is the local extension of the national Alliance of Hazardous Materials Professionals (AHMP). The CTACHMM purpose is to locally support the national organization's mission of peer interaction, education and training, and professional development for Environmental Health and Safety professionals.

Special Note: The Academy of Certified Hazardous Materials Managers (ACHMM) membership voted to change the organization's name to the Alliance of Hazardous Materials Professionals™ (AHMP) effective January 2009. The membership association is focused on its vision of becoming the recognized global leader and resource for hazardous materials professionals.
The purpose of our web site is to provide information to CTACHMM members on current activities and events related to the chapter. In addition, we have included information for potential new members on how to get certified and links to the national organization.
